Zdravlje AD is delighted to announce the appointment of Dr. Dmitriy Sovetkin to its leadership team as Commercial Director, effective June 1, 2023. Dr. Sovetkin will report to Group CEO, Kiren Naidoo.

Dmitriy brings over 20 years of proven success as an experienced leader within the pharmaceutical industry. He has deep expertise across various functions including sales and marketing, business development, regulatory affairs, finance and manufacturing, amongst others.

Dr. Sovetkin is a qualified medical doctor and post graduate from the Ural State Medical Academy in Ekaterinburg and holds an Executive MBA (specialised in Marketing and Management) from Ural Business Academy in Ekaterinburg.

Prior to joining Zdravlje, Dmitriy has held various leadership positions at top-tier multinational companies including: Dr. Reddy’s (General Manager and Vice President, Russia), Sandoz (General Manager, Russia), Novartis (Board Member, Russia), Veropharm / Abbott (General Manager, Russia), Abbott (EPD CIS Regional Director), Solvay (Sales & Marketing Director), amongst others.

His expertise includes building & execution of effective business strategy, portfolio development in various therapeutical areas, go-to-market models (including digital), commercial excellence and innovations to ensure consistent, above-market business growth. He also brings expertise in setting up and leading successful teams with cultural diversity and high compliance standards, effective P&L management in accordance with committed KPIs, and successful experience in business transformation and integration (M&A).

As the Commercial Director, Dr. Sovetkin will be responsible for spearheading strategic initiatives to accelerate growth, optimize sales performance, and foster key partnerships across the pharmaceutical industry. Leveraging his deep understanding of market dynamics and customer insights, Dr. Sovetkin will lead the development and execution of innovative commercial strategies to enhance Zdravlje’s position as a frontrunner in the industry.
